For details on Interests please see https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/titles/interests/G4Q8HQTQJ6YZ7H7B and as announced for the web at https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/imdbcom/introducing-interests-on-web/66be8cc8985e8c49f8c97f53
Interests are built on keywords, but not all keywords are Interests.
Hope this helps.
Yeah i understand that, i'm talking about subgenres and about same subgenres specifically
On two series i added same subgenre, on one it appears and on other doesn't, that's what i don't understand
Some Interest labels require both a specific genre and a subgenre keyword. This is covered in the help page Col mentioned.
So perhaps one series has the required genre and the other doesn't.
Oh i think i understand now, maybe that's the issue
On those two titles i added erotic thriller subgenre
One has main thriller genre, other doesn't
And that subgenre shown only on that with main thriller genre
So i need to add thriller genre to that other too?
Also on other title i added police procedural crime as subgenre and it doesn't show either
And it doesn't have main crime genre, so it needs that right?
Yeah that was the issue, help page doesn't really say what specific genres needed to specific subgenres, because in some other cases it does work fine, when it doesn't have specific main genre, so that's why it was confusing
That is what confusing, way too many stuff for simple thing
Only when you said specific subgenre needs specific genre then it was clear to me
I tried to read it before and it was not clear to me
I understand that everything needs to be written
But it not always helps
