Adding a credit to an episode that isn’t listed on the show page
Hi! I’m trying to add my daughter’s credit to a tv series that she worked on. She was in one episode (the 8th) but I’m getting a rejection to the credit despite having evidence (contract and call sheet) saying that I need to add the credit to the individual episode. I have done this for another show she worked on with no issues as the episodes were listed on the other show’s page but this new show doesn’t have the episodes listed.
I’m being prompted to add episode info but I don’t think I have enough to do that correctly…seems like that would be for producers or others more involved with the production of the show???
Do I try to add an episode? There are lots of other actors listed on the page without episode info. How do I proceed to get this credit added?

EMWest: Generally speaking, TV series credits for cast and crew need to be added to the page for a specific episode -- not the page for the series as a whole.
If a person is listed for a TV series without any specific episode attached to their name, they were probably submitted when the series was first entered into IMDb before any episodes were listed. But that's not what IMDb really wants; they want all TV series cast and crew to be assigned to the episodes they worked on. So your daughter would have to be listed on the episode she worked on.
If a series is listed in IMDb, but a specific episode has not been listed yet, it is relatively easy to get the episode listed. Mainly, you just need to know at least one of the following pieces of information:
If you know more than one of these items, you should provide both or all three of them, but only one is necessary.
To add the episode, go to the page for the series as a whole, and click "Add episode".
On the next screen, you will be asked for those three pieces of information, and you need to provide at least one of them. On the "I am ..." line, select the option for your relationship to the show ("producer/director/writer", "a member of the cast/crew", "a publicist/agent/official source", "none of the above"). Note that anyone who knows the information is allowed to submit an episode, not just a producer. Click "Check these updates".
On the next screen, you will have the option to submit Writers, Directors, Producers, Cast, a Plot Outline, or a Plot Summary. If you know some of these items, I recommend that you provide them. Still, all of them are optional.
If your daughter worked on the episode but was not a writer, director, producer, or cast, you should also check the box marked "To add more data for categories that aren't listed above, select this box". Click "Re-check these updates". If you checked the box, you will then see options to add data in all the other categories as well, so that you can submit your daughter's credit if she worked in another department.
The rest of the process should be fairly self-explanatory. If you need more assistance, please come back here and provide all the details about the situation.
Good luck!
