Adding my name to the cast list of a production

I've been trying to include my name as part of the cast for several vertical web series that I've worked on and is listed on IMDb. The first two productions I was able to add my name without a problem. But IMDb consistently rejects my request for one vertical series, even though I've provided definitive proof (the production's daily call sheet) that I worked on the series. IMDb doesn't offer an explanation why this particular request is rejected. Is there another direction I could try?

I can see that your credit is for a TV Series and you are submitting to the main TV Series parent page. For TV Series, you have to submit the credit to the Episode that your name will show in the onscreen end credits. You have to re submit the credit to the episode, you can find help and instructions in our Help Articles: https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/filmography-credits/how-do-i-add-an-episodic-credit/GRRHUZAQPQV4T2F9?ref_=helpsrall#

Thank you for your comment and suggestion. This production, "Baby Trapped by the Billionaire" is a vertical web series. Vertical series aren't the same as regular episodic television. Each of the episodes of a vertical series, this one included, only last a duration of a minute and a half to two minutes. None of the episodes of a vertical series have titles. The purpose of the episodes is revenue based only. While the first five or six episodes of a vertical are free, the viewer has to pay to watch each episode afterwards in order to see the entire show. I currently have 19 vertical series credited to me on IMDb and only one show lists a specific credited episode. I'm not sure why this particular vertical series is declining my credit request. Last week I submitted similar requests for two other (different) verticals and both were accepted.

@richardrivera Thanks for the extra context; as Fran explained above, credits on TV-series have to be submitted at the episode level, however, there is an exception to this rule which explains why your other similar credits were accepted: we allow credits at the main series level when a show has been announced, yet no episodes have been released (or in this case, when no episodes have been added to IMDb yet). What happened with the other vertical drama titles on which you worked, is that no episodes had been added to IMDb, whereas https://www.imdb.com/title/tt35537388/episodes/ already has episodes. You will need to determine in which episodes you appear, add them via the "Add episode" button on https://www.imdb.com/title/tt35537388/episodes/ and once each is approved, you can then add your credit. Adding an episode is easy since all you need is the episode number and release date, which in the case of this show, is always USA / 9 January 2025. We are familiar with these vertical drama series, and by IMDb's current definitions, they do have episodes. Here's an example of one which does have a large number listed already: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt29605443/episodes/ whereas most series have yet to be updated in detail by the contributor community. Hope this helps.

Hi, Col_Needham - Thank you so much for reaching out with your information and suggestion. Yes - I followed your advice and it worked out wonderfully! Not only was the production in question resolved almost instantly - but there was also a second production with the same episode listing situation that I needed to request a cast addition, and that request was accepted almost instantly as well! I'm so relieved and happy that I turned to help to this forum. You and Fran were extremely helpful. I was frankly, completely frustrated until I posted here. You and Fran explained everything clearly and it all worked out just the way I hoped! Thank you again! Richard
