All User Ratings for My Short Film Have Disappeared

Dear Fran, Thank you for your quick response. Here is the link to the title: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7534372/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_4_tt_8_nm_0_in_0_q_leader%25202018 I have received an information from IMDB that there is no record in the system of any ratings for this title. This is impossible – the film is 7 years old, has been to many festivals, got lot of reviews, nominations and awards and while it may not have thousands of ratings, it had quite a few, and its average rating was above 7. Just recently, when I was updating the producer bio, this rating was still there. Now, it shows as "coming soon," but the premiere happened a long time ago. I kindly ask for your help in finding out what happened.

Hey Maya, about a month ago, the ratings were available. I tried to add my rating (a week ago something like that) when I noticed they were gone, but it didn’t go through. I then contacted you and logged back into the ratings section, but they were still gone, including mine. However, it showed on my profile that I had added a rating. So, this is an activity I performed recently after the ratings disappeared, and the message "coming soon" appeared. In the past few weeks, I’ve been a victim of cyberattacks and trolling from my former colleagues. As a result, I’m not sure if they might have had some way to harm me in this process.

I kindly ask that you investigate this discrepancy and correct the rating as soon as possible. I rely on IMDb professionally, and inaccuracies of this kind have a negative impact on my work. Thank you to solve the situation asap, and also inform me on what happened with all the votes on my previous short film...

Dear Maya, I would like to point out that there are several high ratings given by people involved with the film, which should not be surprising given that they supported a project they worked on. However, this rating dramatically dropped after the appearance of ratings 1, 2, and 3, which are intentional and harmful. Why is this not being taken into account? This drop happened suddenly, overnight, and I believe I have the right to know why you seem to consider that these lower ratings are more credible than the ones that raised the film's score. Furthermore, if we take a closer look at the reviews of this film, which are also publicly available to your team, the disproportion is striking. I would really like to understand on what basis and whose evaluations were excluded, and when this happened. It seems highly unlikely to me, especially since there are not thousands of ratings for this film, but just a bit over a hundred, so there is no question of the issue you’re talking about. Please, I kindly ask for an explanation.

Hi katiapriwieziencew - The reason why there are no votes displayed is because the title has not received the minimum number of votes needed to generate and display the aggregate rating. It's possible that at some point it did meet that threshold, but it's below it now (keep in mind that votes can be deleted when users delete their votes or their account). If/when the title receives enough votes, a rating will then be shown. I hope this helps clarify!

Dear Maja, You didn't answer to my previous request and message, so I am reaching out once again for clarification and kindly ask that you carefully review the content of this message. I would kindly like to request clarification on which specific votes, from which accounts, have been identified as coming from fraudulent sources, and why these votes are not being considered. Additionally, I would appreciate an explanation as to why several votes, which significantly lower the overall rating, have been accepted. As I mentioned previously, the film had maintained a rating of 5.7 for a long period of time, which can be verified in your system. It is also worth noting that the film received positive reviews in the USA, which are available on the IMDb forum. Given this, I believe the situation may be personally targeted against me, and it feels unjust and harmful. This could be described as an attempt to discredit me online, and I respectfully request further clarification on this matter. I urge you to ensure a fair and transparent process in evaluating the votes, as was done previously. Thank you very much for your attention to this issue.
