Alternative names
@Ozzy, hi!
I have a similar situation. All my credits are in Russian https://www.imdb.com/name/nm15473217/fullcredits/, and I couldn’t have an alternative names, except for the name Anzhelika Zhevurova. It happened because I corrected my name text several times. But in the credits, my name is only in Russian and can't mention the alternative names I have in my profile.
Please, could you remove all my alternative names, except the name Anzhelika Zhevurova? With this name I have one credit https://www.imdb.com/title/tt31549866/?ref_=nm_flmg_asst_1/

Likajena: First of all, it looks like your name has been entered in IMDb in reverse order. You are being listed as "Zhevurova Angelika" but I suspect that your given name is actually Angelika (or Angelica or Anzhelika) and your family name is Zhevurova (or Gevurova). Your name is listed the other way around right now.
Second, if most of your work is in Russian-language productions, I assume that you were normally credited the same way in the Cyrillic alphabet in those Russian movies and TV shows, and the variant spellings only occurred when your name was transliterated into English. I recommend instead that you determine the "standardized" version of the transliteration of your name using the table at https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/other-submission-guides/russian-names-titles/GX27PHHMYTYEJZDT# and figure out how your name, when displayed in Cyrillic characters, should appear in English.
Please let us know what your name would be according to that transliteration table so we can get your credits corrected. Also, if you can post your name as it appears in Cyrillic characters here as well, that might be helpful.
Third, while suppressing alternative names is allowed to everyone, for nondiscrimination reasons, one of IMDb's motivations for allowing people to hide their alternative names seems to have been to allow transgender people to suppress their former name from their original gender. I am assuming that does not apply to you and that you have always been a woman.
Hiding alternative names was not meant to allow people to hide misspellings of their name. Or, for example, you might have been credited on a Russian production as А. Жевурова (that is, in the Roman alphabet, A. Zhevurova). That would be an alternative name for you, but there is no reason I can think of why you would want to hide it.
If you provide full details here, the contributors or staff will be able to advise you better on how to fix your page.
I hope this helps.

Anzhelika: The other issue that I understand you have is that you don't want the attribute (as Angelica Gevurova) on many of your credits as it is now. Since that is not the standardized transliteration of your Russian-language credited name, you should be able to get that removed. Here is how.
First, I would wait until after the merge of your Anzhelika Zhevurova (I) and (II) pages has been completed. It should only take a few days.
Once that is done, go to your page and click "Edit page".
On the next screen, on the lines for Second Unit Director or Assistant Director Credits,
Camera and Electrical Department member Credits, and Script and Continuity Department member Credits, select "Correct/Delete". Scroll down and click "Continue".
On the next screen, you will need to indicate what credits you are correcting. In the Second Unit Director or Assistant Director Credits section, select "Correct" next to Belyy sneg and Varya. In the other two sections, there will be a checkbox at the top that says "Correct all". Check that box for the other two sections. Click "Check these updates".
On the next screen, you will want to go through and delete (as Angelica Gevurova) wherever it appears, as well as (as a different name) for Varya. Also, for each credit you are correcting, check the box for "Provide an explanation to assist in processing this submission". An Explanation box will immediately appear.
Fortunately, you can use the exact same explanation for every one of the credits you are correcting. In the Explanation box for each credit, enter something like this: "I am Anzhelika Zhevurova. This is a Russian-language title, and in this title I was credited under my name in the Russian Cyrillic alphabet as Анжелика Жевурова. The standardized transliteration for my name, according to the IMDb guide at https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/other-submission-guides/russian-names-titles/GX27PHHMYTYEJZDT#, is Anzhelika Zhevurova, which is my primary name on IMDb. Therefore, this name should not have an "as ..." attribute with a different transliteration."
Click "Check these updates".
On the next screen, your data should appear with green backgrounds, and you should be able to click "Submit these updates".
Again, allow a few days for the corrections to go through.
Good luck!
