Another review rejected for no reason
It's insanely clear that any review harsh enough to label a movie propaganda will be rejected, especially if that propaganda leans a certain way. Here is my review for The Young Marx. It breaks no rules whatsoever. It has been rejected twice. "Not one second of this "biopic" is based on objective reality. It's merely a love letter from one ideologue to the patron saint of ideologues. Anything that could possibly make Marx look like a flawed human, let alone the evil monster he was, is missing from the film, which instead focuses on convincing the audience that Marx was an undefeatable hero. Nothing about the man or his history is portrayed with any amount of skepticism. On a technical level, the movie is also insanely boring. No actor stands out. The writing and directing is pedestrian. There is nothing good about this blatant piece of propaganda.A Propagandistic Love Letter to Marx
