Another way of doing genre information
Some films are classified as belonging to 4 or more genres which I don't have a problem with but I think the relevant information could be better communicated. Genres are listed at the top of a page and again near the middle. The listing on the top of the page is restricted to a maximum of 3 items but further down you may get more listed. The problem is that genres are listed strictly in alphabetical order so the three items you see up the top are the first three alphabetically which does not necessarily equate to the three most relevant. So in the case of many items those near the bottom alphabetically (Romance, Sci-Fi, Thriller, War, Western etc) may not show in the "top 3" listing even if they objectively should. Also there are other movie websites which copy genre info from IMDb rather than thinking for themselves and often they copy the "top 3." My suggestion is to either restrict films to the three or fewer most relevant genres or put the three most relevant at the top of the page regardless of alphabetical order. I'll find an example somewhere on the site and post.
