Appeal for Rejected Credit Submission

I am writing to appeal the repeated rejection of a credit submission for an actor who worked on a film that was most recently released. This submission has been denied four times, despite him having actively worked on the project. Here are the four IDs with the submissions;

- 260522-184314-776000

- 260525-042813-351000

- 260526-062127-788000

- 260527-192056-580000

While he was uncredited in the final rolling credits, I have definitive proof of his involvement. To verify this, I have attached evidence directly from his official Instagram page, which includes:

 - A couple of behind-the-scenes photos showing him on set working with the crew.

 - A photo of a still from the movie matching his appearance in the official movie release to his personal photos.

Here are the photos:

Given that IMDb's policy allows for the addition of "uncredited" roles when verified by strong supporting evidence, I kindly ask that someone reviews this case manually.

Thanks.

Hello gretimetti

I have checked the submissions and there is not attached evidence for us to confirm the uncredited position. According to our guidelines the best evidence for uncredited positions are:

Receipts

Contracts

Call sheets

Pay stubs

Third-party news articles

I encourage you to re submit the credit and provide us with valid evidence, you can find help and instructions in our Help Articles.

@Fran

Thank you for taking the time to responed.

I must respectfully disagree with the assessment that the provided evidence is insufficient. In my experience contributing to IMDb, I have successfully added numerous "uncredited" roles for actors in both movies and television shows without providing any evidence (or at the very least, using the exact same type of photographic and on-set visual evidence as done for this submission, without problems).

Those submissions were accepted without requiring contracts, pay stubs, or call sheets, so I am struggling to understand why this specific case is being treated differently.

While IMDb's official guidelines on uncredited credits does state a call sheet, a contract, a pay stub as sufficient evidence, it also states that a screengrab of the person on screen can also be used.

The photos I attached, which include behind-the-scenes images of the actor on set in costume, alongside a direct matching screenshot from the final movie release, align with those alternative guidelines. They provide clear, objective proof of his physical presence and involvement in the film.

Given that this visual evidence directly verifies his appearance, could you please have this case manually reviewed again for consistency with how these guidelines are typically applied?

Thank you.

I understand, however in the provided submissions no evidence was attached at all, In have checked each of them and no link/pictures were included. Like any other contributor in the site, it is advised to provide evidence and supporting links to avoid rejections, there is nothing different, as any other submission you will need to prove you were part of it.

You can re submit the contribution anytime and provide us with the supporting evidence, so we can check for you!
