Approved profile image not appearing as primary image

Hello IMDb Support Team,

I am the official management representative for the actor CiSha.

An official portrait image for CiSha was submitted via IMDb Contributor and has already been approved. However, the profile page still displays a grey placeholder image, and the approved portrait has not appeared as the primary profile image on IMDb / IMDbPro.

CiSha stars in the 2025 Jackie Chan film “The Shadow’s Edge”, in which he portrays triplets with distinctly different personalities. It is important for industry professionals to see a complete and accurate profile.

Could you please assist in checking whether the approved image is still pending processing or if it needs to be manually assigned as the primary image?

Hi hippiezhao-

Further checking the name page, the images were submitted to the External Sites section of the page. These images do not set as the profile picture of the person nor they are added as images to their gallery.

For profile images and images on name pages, only the name page owners or a verified representative can submit photos. For this an active IMDbPro membership is required and the page has to be claim to display photos.
