Are Nick Maddocks (I) and Nick Maddocks (II) the same person?

Nick Maddocks (I) nm2472194 has credits as producer, director and editor for various UK titles. Nick Maddocks (II) nm15827794 has credits only as editor for various UK titles. I'm wondering whether a) they should be merged if they are the same person, or b) they are different people and Nick Maddocks (I)'s editor credits should be moved to Nick Maddocks (II). Ignore the fact that both people have editor credits for the same episode of Who Do You Think You Are?, because it is that fact which started me wondering about all this! I need to remove one or other of those credits - but which one? We need someone in the UK TV business who knows whether they are the same or different people...
