assistance removing an incorrect credit (how to prove a negative?)

I recently submitted a request to remove an actress from a movie she is incorrectly listed on. #250721-165506-936000 Gywn LaRee is listed incorrectly on "Odd Noggins" (2000). The confusion is caused by the fact that she IS in "Odd Noggins" (2015) which was a remake done by the same director, but completely different cast. She is only in the 2015 version, not the 2000 one. I confirmed this directly with the director Joe Sherlock by email. I have his email, but how is this evidence to IMDB to remove her from the first version of the movie? Odd Noggins (2000) - she is NOT in this, but is listed.
