Attempting to Correct Inaccurate Plot Outlines, but Keep Getting Rejected — Need Help
Hello, there are two films which have woefully inaccurate plot outlines that are detrimental to the viewing process. One literally spoils the end of the film too, rather than describe anything in the beginning to setup the outline. That film is "Entertaining Mr. Sloane" (1970). Even if spoilers aren't forbidden, it's just a bad outline. Here's what I rewrote, which describes the story without ruining the ending for no reason: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065700 Kath encounters the manipulative Sloane in a cemetery and invites him to be a lodger. Her closeted brother, Ed, forbids it, but Sloane seduces both Kath and Ed. Their father recognizes Sloane and threatens to expose his murderous past. ==== The other has staggeringly incorrect information, which never occurred in the film nor source novel. It is astonishingly bad. That film is "The Raging Moon" (aka "Long Ago, Tomorrow", 1971). This is another woefully bad one. Here's what I rewrote for this film…the ACTUAL truth: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067357 Bruce Pritchard is an aspiring writer, who succumbs to a degenerative disease that leaves him paralyzed from the waist down. Opting to live in a home for the disabled, his gloomy outlook improves when he falls for a resident with polio. ==== I've been rejected twice for these, once with an explanation and once without, because I tried both routes. Please help me here, IMDb Staff. Is there something you can do, to help me correct these failure synopses? Thanks in advance.
