Back to Back Productions of Series/Movie in Different Languages - Separate Listings?
Please can you confirm if the same show is filmed twice, back to back, with the same story, cast & crew but in different languages should be listed as two separate shows? Specifically the recent pair of series "Mudtown" & "Ar y Ffin" filmed in English and Welsh. Production company press release: https://www.severnscreen.com/news/mudtown-to-premiere-on-uampalibi-from-20th-august "Filmed back-to-back in both Welsh and English, U&alibi’s English language premiere follows the Welsh language transmission of Ar y Ffin on S4C in December 2024." There's currently a single listing: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt33981048/reference/ which is a mixture of English & Welsh that doesn't correctly reflect the 2 different "versions" and different premiere dates etc. From my perspective they are different productions so different shows and so should have separate listings with the association in the Connections? I've come across similar situations listed twice for some Indian films (where I believe this multi-production is more common). Example: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1334470/reference/ - Raavan https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1664806/reference/ - Raavanan But also seen as a single listing, for example Mumbai Xpress, which was filmed separately in Hindi & Tamil but has a single listing: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0439714/reference And have also found an example where there were multiple listings that were merged: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11773212/ https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7822758/ (Links from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaadan, the first now redirects) Lots of examples of multi-productions here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_multilingual_Indian_films Is there anything in the rules covering this situation that I have missed?
