Bogus Credits

Hi. I did a non union film about 20 years ago before I was SAG in which I appeared in a cameo for about 6 seconds. Its a really terrible horror film, and its fine I have to deal with being credited on it, that's fine, I did it when I was a kid. but 20 years later, this director keeps using my scene in different films he's doing and the new terrible credit keeps jumping to the top of my IMDB page. Needless to say this is annoying. Hes not only updating the old film every year to jump to the top, but using my scene in other terrible movies using different names for them all. My page is flooded with this crap. is there ANYTHING I can do? All my good credits are being buried by this guys stuff and im tearing my hair out. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help. Im at a loss.

Yes, it sounds like the above is archive footage, please see https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/filmography-credits/archive-footage/G4X4TVH6HXYBW8WM If you add the attribute (archive footage) to your credits for this recycled footage, it will be placed in the separate “Archive Footage” section on your name page (still there but no longer at the top). For example, visit https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000138/ and click “All credits” in the credits section and the scroll down to the “Archive Footage” section to see how it works for DiCaprio. Hope this helps.
