Can a TV mini-series be more than one season?

250527-201927-031000 This series ran for 2 seasons, each in separate years; it is not a TV mini series. Admittedly the seasons were rather short, but this is normal for British TV. However, my submission to remove the incorrect keyword has been declined, apparently due to the length of the total running time. This is contrary to the submission guide, which implies that a mini-series must be a single season - https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/discover-watch/how-do-you-decide-if-a-title-is-a-film-a-tv-movie-or-a-miniseries/GKUQEMEFSM54T2KT?ref_=helpsrall# I know these are only broad guidelines, but the series in question meets every single one of the listed criteria for a TV series, whilst failing to do the same for a mini-series.

Hi tom_wake, Thank you for reporting this. Your original submission was declined due to a processing error. I have now re-submitted on your behalf, and approved the deletion of the keyword. This update should appear live on the site shortly. I hope this helps!

Hi Ozzy, Thanks for this. I have another series with the exact same problem (two British seasons in separate years), except that this one is even worse because it's an ongoing series and is still being made! Here is the declined submission: 250608-163316-348000 It's starting to look like there is some confusion amongst the editors over the length of British TV series and the belief that the standard shorter running time (compared to US series) is enough to consider it a mini-series. Is it possible that this could be investigated please? Many thanks

Hi tom_wake, Thank you for reporting this. This happened to be another processing error when declining your deletion request. I've flagged that decision for review with the appropriate team, and have also removed the keyword. This update should appear live shortly. Cheers!
