Solved

Can someone help me understand why this contribution was declined?

I am just trying to understand why my change was declined. I honestly don't get it, even after reviewing the guidelines again.

The same goof is registered twice, once as a continuity error and once as a revealing mistake. I don't get why anyone would want the same error listed twice. In professional editing, we called that a repetitive redundancy (trying to make the point with the name). Granted that I have been retired a decade, the two errors appear on the same page, which alone seems to make it unnecessary to repeat, even if there is a disagreement about the type of error. (I still don't see how it's a continuity error. The child was never shown to be female, only spoken of as such.)

Thanks for any light that can be cast on this. . . .

Wow, thanks! I was just trying to clarify the view from IMDB's point of view. I have trouble understanding parts of it, so I did think I was missing something.

Thanks again!
