Can't add title because you make ridiculous demands for information that doesn't exist.

Documentary series rarely have directors or a cast list, so I can't add them. I added all the information requested: title, year, air date etc, even included a link to the series page on the website of the channel who made it, then was told that the submission would be rejected if I didn't add stupid things like the budget! Since you ask who's submitting the information, so I said I wasn't involved in making the series, it seems deliberate that you won't accept basic data to add the title. Which makes no sense. Can you either add the Toolbox Murders Australian true crime series, or stop making it impossible for people to add serieses so the database is actually remotely upto date? https://www.crimeandinvestigation.co.uk/shows/toolbox-murders

Hello StayWilde You don't have to provide all of the information requested to submit the new title addition, if you have valid evidence and basic information, you can still submit the title and add further data later. @StayWilde In addition, please see https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/titles/adding-a-new-title/GNXTSSVTJTFCRZGN and the question in the FAQ section: "I can't submit the form, the option isn't there – I'm stuck!" this explains what to do if you do not have the minimum information in any section; it is just a case of clicking the checkbox on the new title form as explained in the FAQ and provide a note in a the resulting text box.
