Cast credits and duplicate profiles

Rounak: https://www.imdb.com/user/ur62610333/ is an IMDb *user* page. It's not a *name* page where you would have your credits listed. For comparison, Marilyn Monroe has a name page (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000054/), but not a user page, because she died before there was an Internet, while I (gromit82) have a user page (http://www.imdb.com/user/ur1879600/) but no name page because I don't have any film or television credits.

Also, to put it all in a nutshell now- there are two issues I'm facing- 1) the credits are wrongly mentioned for which I'll have to create a name page first and then request a correction. Am I correct? 2) how can I request for a deletion of the incorrect one? Will that be taken care of once I have my name page up and running? I'm slightly confused here.

You don't need a paid membership to edit your credits on your name page. The membership you already have (even if it is a free membership) should enable you to edit your credits. "Or can a user page be changed to a name page?" No, they are two different kinds of pages and one cannot be changed into the other. Since you both use IMDb and have television credits to list, you should have both a user page and a name page. For the other questions you asked, please see Col Needham's response below. Col and other users may be able to help you more with those questions. *I say "basically yes" because a name page will be created for anyone with an eligible IMDb-listed credit in a film or television show, regardless of whether that person is an IMDb user or even if the person is still alive.

Name correction- it is NOT Raunak Ali, instead Rounak Ali. My correction request has been declined because of this profile- which is not the correct one.

Additionally, I've requested for the deletion of the credits mentioned wrongly. Still awaiting update on that. So that the correct profile can be mentioned after the deletion- I suppose that's where the glitch is happening! Please assist me with this! Cheers
