Hi farne-
Thank you for posting the link! Can you provide verifiable online evidence to help support the verification that this is a UK based company?
Cheers!
@farne- We have investigated the information, however, the US country code will remain as we have listed for this company. This company might have started in the UK but we have reviewed that is currently operating as a US company.
Maya, I think these are really two different companies, even if they are related. You are probably referring to Polygram Entertainment (which seems to be predominantly a music company and based in the US). But I think this is a different company from Polygram Filmed Entertainment (the film company based in the UK). Polygram Filmed Entertainment doesn't exist anymore, it was taken over and subsumed by Universal.
Also, your answer above prompts a question. If a British company or an Australian company, say, moves its operations to the US and so the country code becomes [US], I know that someone on IMDb will then change their British or Australian films into US films or US co-productions, based on this new country code. So how can you stop this happening or reverse it if it does happen?
