Changing Title or Description of a Series
There is an error in the description of the 1940s Superman radio series. On IMDb it is called a "podcast" series, but there was no such thing as a "podcast" before the rise of the Internet, and the term has only become common in the years post-2000. In its day, the Superman series was a series of radio programs. But I see no way of getting into that section of the page to make this correction. There are no categories that are editable by the average IMDb user that would allow one to correct "podcast series" with "radio series" or "radio program".
This raises the more general question of how to get into that main section for each item. Suppose, for example, that the title of a movie or series was wrong, and one wanted to change it, how would one go about submitting the change? I see no point of entry in the edit menus. So, for example, if the TV series called "Mr. Terrific" had been mistitled, "Dr. Terrific", how would one submit the correction? Can the average IMDb user do that?

OFL: There is no way to change "The Adventures of Superman" (1940) from a Podcast Series to a Radio Series because radio series aren't supposed to be listed in IMDb. The IMDb staff will have to address this issue. I agree that this show was not a podcast and should not be listed in IMDb under current policy.
As to your other question: If the title of any film, television show, etc. in the database is incorrect, yes, you can submit a correction. To do this, go to the page for the film/television show/etc. and click "Edit page". On the next screen, scroll down to near the bottom of the list, where there will be a line for "Title Correction". Select "Add Correction", click "Continue", and proceed from there.
Note that when you submit the corrected title, it should be formatted in standard IMDb title format, including the year in parentheses, and any other necessary formatting as indicated at https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/titles/title-formatting/G56U5ERK7YY47CQB# . (For example, the title of a TV series needs to be in "quotation marks".)
I hope this helps.
