Character names and attributes for podcasts and audiobooks

For audio podcasts and audiobooks, should cast members have the attribute "(voice)," or is that assumed with those formats? Also, for audiobooks, if someone is reading their own book, would their character name be "Self," or something like "Narrator" or "Reader"?
