Correcting an acting credit given to another person of the same name

Hi there,

I'm trying to correct something on my child's IMDB account and failing badly. I've looked through the other similar posts and it seems that the best solution seems to be posting here.

Her name is Maya Feldman (II).

She is/was Mika Seeger in a film, A Complete Unknown.

The credit has been assigned to Maya Feldman (I), although I have submitted the following:

  • contract
  • birth certificate (as she is a child, as is the character in the film/teaser, but the other person is not)
  • Call Sheets (2)
  • Script
  • parental permission form of some sort
  • a revision to the original contract
  • I may have also posted the teaser for the film, as she's in it at the end (and she clearly looks like her headshot).

And have been rejected about 5 different times (each time I have attached a new document or two).

I am out of documents at this point.

Can you help?

Thank you.

hokka: As things are, it looks like IMDb is now saying that both Maya Feldman (I) and (II) are known for A Complete Unknown, but only Maya (I) actually has a credit for the film.

Please post your last full data submission here on this message board. You can copy it out of the receipt you would have received from IMDb by e-mail immediately after sending it in. Some of the regulars on the board may review it and, if they can, they may provide suggestions as to how to improve the submission to get it included in the database. (Also, please include the submission reference number -- it's an 18-digit number that will look something like 240123-123456-789000.)

Please don't post all the additional documentation like the contract, her birth certificate, etc. I am just looking for you to post the content of your submission.

@gromit82 Thanks!  Maya II (mine) has an uncredited role because until about 2 weeks ago it was credited to her correctly (credited as Mika Seeger), as I'd submitted paperwork showing she was in the film, after the teaser came out.  Then, it got moved to Maya I recently, but I can't get it back.

hokka: I think you will probably need to wait for the IMDb staff to see this thread in order to resolve this issue. Good luck!
