Correcting the production date

This film has indeed been produced in 1970:https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12683106 (see here: https://fa.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D9%85%D8%AD%D8%B3%D9%86_%D9%87%D8%B1%D9%86%D8%AF%DB%8C 1349 in Jalali calendar is equal to 1970 in Gregorian calendar) However it was never theatrically released and only recently a digitalised copy of it has been surfaced on the net. So I cannot get the date fixed by submitting a premiere date or an official release date.

What is the nature of the digital release? If a date for it is available perhaps it should be added. IMDb does have a guideline about listing a year of production in some cases: "If a film is never completed, or is completed but never released, it can be more representative to list the year the film was produced so as to more accurately reflect the title on the associated cast and crew name pages." One of the cited examples is L'enfer (1964), which is still listed as 1964 even though it has a later Bluray release date, so perhaps the same thing can be applied here.

It was by no means an official release. Some people supposedly got their hands on a somehow pristine copy of the film, used tele-cine to convert it to a digital file and began circulating it as a bootleg copy. The process had nothing to do with the actual producer of the film. Given that no extra work has been done on the film since it was completed, I reckon it could be best represented by its year of production.

Setting the title year to 1970 when there was no release is not something that can be contributed, it would need to be done by IMDb. I deleted the existing date since it had a nonsensical attribute and was probably entered in error.
