Solved

Credit being denied

I'm trying to get a credit for a series for a character I voiced for 4 episodes (I did a voice match/replaced the original Actress' voice) I first tried submitting on my own and then my manager had submitted for me and I got 3 of the episode credits last week. The next day, it went down to 2 and then when I tried to submit myself for the missing 2 episode credits, I saw all of the credits disappeared the next day. My manager tried again this week and I had 1 episode credit yesterday and it all disappeared again today. I saw another actor who also provided the voice for a character in this series (the masked voice of a character) in the original production/country's language audio, get credited as the character (simultaneously while the screen actor got the same credit). These are my attempts: Latest attempt: #250709-202750-726000 Other attempts: #250707-182131-076000, #250627-194214-530000

@storyteller_atheart- After furthe reviewing these credits, the reason why they were removed and/or not accepted is because they're not eligible to be listed as cast credits. As per our guides, we don't list English language dubbing credits on non-animated titles. However and in the meantime, you can still add this credited work to the "Other Works" section on your IMDb page biography section: https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/names-biographical-data/biographical-data-guidelines/GMT9T242VQADZUQM#other Further information can be found on our following Voice Credits Help Guide: https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/filmography-credits/cast-acting-credits-guidelines/GH3JZC74FVYKKFMD?ref_=helpsrall#voice You are also welcome to review our following Credits Eligibility Help Guide: https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/filmography-credits/eligible-credits/GFXKZE9VXLB5CR8M#

Thank you Maya for taking the time to review and respond! To clarify, my voice was the one used in the original language version of the production (not the English dub, as I believe a different actress was used in the dubbing version). Someone had clarified it technically counts as voice matching and not English language dubbing. To be more specific, the production felt like the original actress' accent did not fit what they were looking for, so they had me voice match in ADR and replace her voice entirely in the original language version of the production. But I can see how the other 2 voice rules might limit getting the full credit. In this case, despite considering this, would you still recommend still submitting for "Other Works"? Thank you again for your time!

Hello storyteller_atheart, As mentioned in the Guidelines: 1. Must have an on-screen credit and 2. Must be credited in cast If you do not have the onscreen credit in the end credits for the original version, your credits are not valid to be listed. You can add the credited work to the "Other Works" section on your IMDb page biography section.

Thank you for clarifying! Sorry, one last question. I'm currently contacting production. Is there a way to still get credited through them and if so , what kind of documents or materials would I need from there side? Thank you again for your help!
