Credits Attributed to Incorrect People with Similar Names

A couple of show credits have been inaccurately attributed to the wrong people with a similar name, which as a result eliminated the correct person’s name on IMDB.  It was once correct, but somehow it got switched to the wrong people.  

Example for simplicity – 3 different people:

Jane Doe (I)

Jane Doe (II)

Jayne Doe 

Credits for Jayne Doe have incorrectly been attributed to Jane Doe (I) for one show and Jane Doe (II) for another.  Jayne Doe is no longer listed on IMDB with any credits.  And if you search Jayne Doe, Jane Doe (II) comes up, as "an additional name" for that person, which is incorrect.   

Jayne Doe was originally correctly listed under a film title credits.  But it somehow was switched to attributed to Jane Doe (II) with "As Jayne Doe" in parentheses.  And Jayne Doe also shows up under Jane Doe (II) profile listed "additional names."   

What is the best way to resolve this?  

If someone could explain what the steps for adding Jayne Doe back on IMDB, and then how to properly update the show credits to accurately attribute them to Jayne Doe and remove the incorrect names, I would appreciate it.
