Credits going under the wrong person after incorrect merge

Hi there,

I am trying to add my credits to IMDB and mistakenly my credits have now been merged with somebody of the same name, who actually appeared as a contestant on the show I have got my credits on.

I have submitted multiple credit correction requests stating this, but they keep being denied. I asked on any new credit submissions to create a new profile, but they keep just being added to this wrong profile below instead.

So now not only does the person have a 'contestant' appearance, their profile now features all of my credits on incorrectly.

https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2044590/

I don't understand despite my justifications, the team is refusing to create a new profile for me and merge the editor credits to that profile because this is completely incorrect information now on the above profile.

Any help / advice is appreciated as I feel like I am now unable to add any further credits, as these will also be added to the wrong profile.

Many Thanks

Every time I submit a correction, despite filling out the explanation field in detail all I get is the same response: "Your contribution has been declined. We did not capture a specific reason during processing."

For reference, these are all of the the corrections I have submitted thus far:

  • 250219-114453-147000

Hi Bakes-

Thank you for posting this information and the submission reference numbers! I have taken a look at them and further reviewing, have now moved your credits to a new page created here

The changes are still being applied but the page with the credits will be live on the site shortly.

Cheers!

Thanks Maya - much appreciated. I have run into another issue, when I am editing pages to add my credit onto there my name doesn't appear in the search box, even if quoting the (XXVI) title. I feel as though I'm going to run into the same issue where credits are either added to a brand new profile, or go on an incorrect existing profile. Is there any advice you can give, in order to help me locate and assign credits to the correct profile as above? Thank you!

@Bakes- Your welcome! When you want to add the credits, I recommend that you put your page's nmconst, in this case: nm17035414. Once you put it, you should be able to see your name page right away, Jack Baker (XXVI) and you can select it more easily. Hope this helps!
