TRIVIA ADDITION

When Sergeant Saunders orders his men to open fire on the farmhouse where German SS soldiers are hold up in, among the fire power Saunders had at his disposal were two .50 caliber machine guns, one on each Jeep. When they cease fire and tell the Germans to come out with her hands up, you see roughly 10 of them come out. When Saunders goes inside they only see one dead German and one wounded one. Opening fire with all the squads weapons, to include both of the 50 caliber machine guns, on a wooden structure would offer no protection for anybody inside and nobody could have survived that sustained volley with those heavy weapons.
