Do privacy rules also apply to dead celebs?

Scott L. Schwartz's year of birth is hidden due to privacy settings. But he died a few days ago. Does it make sense to still hide the year?

Thank you for your problem report.

I can confirm that the issue here was that we didn't have the year of birth on record. This appears to be due to a previous lack of evidence, but since this person's passing and the recent availability of verifiable records, we were able to confirm the birth year. It is now listed on the person's IMDb page.

I actually did a submission yesterday with evidence via the Help Center (this was not possible with the usual interface), but I was replied "While we appreciate your effort to maintain accurate information, the current name page has chosen to hide this detail from public view. Our platform respects this preference and adheres to privacy settings selected by users. As a result, we are unable to display or update this information on their name page at this time."

I can confirm that I can now see the full date of birth. Thanks.
