Do "version of" media connections automatically interconnect to all other connected versions?

Dear staff,

Because of the massive current The Odyssey publicity campaign, I decided to have some 'orphaned' titles of the same source material connected as versions: The Return (2024), with Ralph Fiennes, Franco Piavoli's Nostos: Il ritorno (1989) , and the TV series from producer ARTE Odysseus (2013), all of which concentrate on the painful psychological and personal homecoming (i.e. family reunion) aspect. But as I see that the 2013 ARTE series is already linked as a version of Homer's epic to other well-known adaptations, like Ulysses (1954) with Kirk Douglas, The Odyssey (1997) with Armand Assante, and Odissea (1968) from RAI TV with Bekim Fehmiu, to what extent do my recent submissions also propagate (automatically?) to the other version connections?

It looks they already do to some extent, as it seems superfluous to reconnect Nolan's The Odyssey to every single one of the titles based on the Homer epic.

The "Reason" box should be used to explain how both films are connected. These reasons will be published on the site, so be clear, concise and specific when explaining the connection. Keep in mind that for simple connections the reason will be used for both directions (i.e. references/referenced in) and for complex connections potentially for the whole group. For example, a common reason for a version connection follows the pattern "Based on the novel/play/etc (title) by (author)" so it works for all titles in a group.

as it is obvious no reason for any version connection is published on IMDb. Which I think is a pity by the way, provided it gets properly regulated or moderated.
