Duplicate podcast series

These two pages refer to the same podcast series:

My request to merge the two series was declined, apparently because they both have episodes attached, each of which needs to be individually merged first.

The problem here is that one of those titles has 110 episodes and the other has 138, and I'm afraid I don't have the time to submit and track a merge request for each one. Is there no way of merging them all internally? If not, what's the second best solution - to delete one of the pages, or just to let them both co-exist alongside each other, with duplicate information?
