Editors Refusing to Delete the Credit Given to Someone with Similar Name (Who Was NOT Involved with the Project!)
Hi, I am reaching out here because the editors keep declining to delete what is factually wrong on a certain production's page. And this affects me personally because they are basically crediting another actor who has my middle name as his last name as the lead performer who voiced an animated series in Ontario, Canada. I specify location because this was a French Canadian project - and I was hired based on my residency and native french Canadian dialect. That person lives on the other side of the world and was never involved. There was only me who voiced that project and this is a case of mistaken identity which I keep trying to explain! I provided a screenshot of the credit roll clearly showing MY name - and this was enough thankfully to have me at least added to the cast for the 52 episodes voiced. However, they don't understand (or are refusing to collaborate) in the removal of the other actor who needs to be removed and whose name is nearly identical to mine because he had no involvement in the project. I have now sent IMBD editors multiple times a clear explanation of what is happening including my official government ID which shows that this is caused by a name mixup (his full name appears within my legal name). I have also provided my actual contract between myself and production hiring me as the voice of this character. And still now that they added me (the correct actor), they are continuously declining my request to have the duplicate/erroneous entry with the other actor's name removed. This is absolutely infuriating and I'm not sure what to do anymore. Anyone with common sense would understand the situation and maybe what makes me more angry is that there is no way that that person can provide any evidence that THEY worked on the show... because none exists. Please help....

Hi alain_5748327-
In order for our staff to review, can you post the 18-digit submission reference number for this removal contribution?
Cheers!
