Entered wrong release date
Our movie "Rufus" is having its world premiere on May 18th, 2025 at Independent Filmmakers Showcase IFS Film Festival but I had accidentally entered 2015 instead of 2025 (due to not having my reading glasses on). A few days before that I entered that we recently won Best Horror Film Awards at 2025 Independent Filmmakers Showcase IFS Film Festival and the award is listed. I have since tried approximately 8 times to update the year listed to be 2025 but IMDB support keeps saying I either don't have enough evidence or that I am not following IMDb guidelines. There are currently 8 critic reviews all from 2025 listed for the film on IMDb. talking about how the movie hasn't premiered anywhere yet. As evidence I have provided the film festival's guidebook showing that Rufus is having a world premiere on May 18th, 2025 at https://ifsfilm.com/Schedule2025/may18.php#Rufus and that there has been a recent article talking about the world premiere taking place on May 18th, 2025 at https://btrproductions.medium.com/movie-premiere-rufus-ce4367258c0c as well as a listing on the official film's website https://www.worlddomination.pictures/rufus plus on the film's instagram at https://www.instagram.com/p/DI3okfYpgRT/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ== Even if you scroll back on the Instagram page, you can see that there are no photos of production that date back before 2024.
HELP!!! I don't know what to do and this mistake of mine is causing me to be disqualified from film festivals that think our film is old. It hasn't had a world premiere. The award we won for the upcoming film festival was judged in advance but we are also up for Best Picture which is announced during their awards ceremony on May 17th, 2025 (you can also see from the official instagram of the movie). With 8 articles and a recent award from 2025, a listing on the film festival's website saying we are having our world premiere on May 18th, 2025 and the official film's website, I do not know what else to do which follows IMDb's guidelines for contribution or what is considered "evidence" by IMDb but I do need help ASAP. The contribution # is #250502-132839-257000
