Solved

Executive of Music (uncredited)

Hi, I have tried unsuccessfully to add this credit which has been granted to an industry colleague working for the same company I have been (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm3396529/). In my most recent effort I have offered proof in the form of LinkedIn and a personal website to demonstrate the “proof” of my contributions, as well as pointed to other IMDB links. The only response I get is to review the submission guidelines which as far as I can tell do not cover this particular situation. I do find this one closed and solved thread from 3 years ago addressing a similar issue. But no explanation as to why my credit is being declined. https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/data-issues-policy-discussions/music-department-not-director/63ac71388a78b2410871cdb6

Hi mds-

In order for our staff to review further, can you post the 18-digit submission reference number for this credit contribution?

Cheers!

@mds- You're welcome! Thank you!

Further reviewing, this was declined as this credit was added to the parent/main series page which as per our guidelines, episodic credits must be added to the respective episodes the person worked on and they must not be listed on the parent page.

You will have to re-submit the credit to the respective episode(s) and will recommend to add any other further supporting evidence to your submission in order for our editors to be able to veirfy.

For further information on how to add episodic credits, you can review our following Help Guide, under question #4.

Also, you can review under the same Help Guide above, question #7 "I worked on a title but did not receive a screen credit. Can it be listed on IMDb?."

Oh I see, I was afraid of that. So even tho I worked on all episodes for a season, I’ll have to add the credit for each one. Sounds like a fun rainy day activity! HA Again many thanks as I was unsure what the exact issue was.

You can add credits to multiple and all episodes at once. Go to Edit page from the series page and then choose "select all" (not "series level") from the episode selection box.
