Film in crowdfunding cycle

We have completed a short film, and we would like to list it on IMDB, the film ill be available for viewing on YouTube in the future, but first we would like to go through a crowdfunding cycle where interested people could watch the film in advance through a link available after supporting us (it was self funded). Could we submit it to IMDB during the crowd funding round, the film is available behind a pay/support us wall, and available as a non-listed link on YouTube. Or should we wait until the film is fully available on YouTube Thanks for your help as I publish my first credit!

Hi pgerhard- As per our guidelines, you will have to wait until the film is fully available as we do not allow titles that are under the crowfunding cycle. For further detail information, you are welcome to review our New Titles Help Guide: https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/titles/adding-a-new-title/GNXTSSVTJTFCRZGN?ref_=helpms_helpart_inline#evidence Cheers!

pgerhard and Maya: I wonder if there is a misunderstanding here about the "crowdfunding cycle". If I understand correctly, pgerhard and the filmmaking team already raised enough money from crowdfunding to get the movie filmed and completed and available to be shown. pgerhard, is there a web page where anyone can pay a certain amount of money and, once they pay, watch your complete film right away? If so, then your film has indeed been released (for paid streaming or possibly paid download) and thus should be considered fully eligible for listing. Please post the link here to the payment page and let us know what the fee is to watch the film. You do not need to make your film available to the public for *free* viewing just to get it listed on IMDb.

this is correct, there (will be) a page where anyone can pay a small amount and watch the film after giving some money to cover the film cost. The film is already done.

pgerhard: Thanks for clarifying. Once your film is available for paid viewing, you should be able to submit it and get it listed on IMDb.
