Francocinephiles: I need your help finding info on a French film NOT in IMDb

I remember a film that I saw in the 1970s whose English title, I believe, was A Frenchman Goes Wild.  It starred Rellys and was directed by Leo Joannon. (It is in neither’s filmography.)  Release date, I think, was 1955.  It was a comedy about a bus driver who undertakes a chase with a busload of passengers.  (A comedic precursor to “Speed”?) Does anyone know anything about it?
