Full Metal Jacket trivia

I wanted to do you all a favor and point out this trivia for someone's contribution for the movie Full Metal Jacket.

Is says this:

"If you pay attention to Joker's uniform collar throughout the movie, you'll notice that he starts out as a Private and by the end of the movie he is a Sergeant."

The contributor uses the word "you" and "you'll".

This violate your policy because it's first person. I point this out because I've had many trivia contributions rejected for that very same reason.
So this begs the question, is it or is it not allowed to use first person in a contribution? Because if this rule is he haphazardly only applied to me but not anyone else then that's a lack of consistency and not fair to me.

"You" isn't first person. I see that the guidelines also say not to use "you" in the second person. However, I would argue that in the quoted item "you" may be used in the third person.

I stand somewhat corrected. Not first person, these words are second person which resulted in several of my trivia is being denied .

Nope! Sorry. I've had several rejected by IMDb specifically because I was told I used the word "you" or "you'll" or "we" and that they specifically said that was second person and against their rules and my contributions were denied. I had to go in and resubmit them by changing it.

i'm making a point that the people that review these contributions have a great lack of consistency. Just like I've had things rejected with a claim it's too long but yet I can find specific contributions from other people that are six times as long as what I had contributed and theirs was approved.

my point is I'm trying to inspire IMDb to fix their broken machine.

Here's an example of one of my second person trivia contributions being denied and the subsequent answer:

In the War Room you see General "Buck" Turgidson, played by George C. Scott, you see he has a binder that says "World in Megadeath". A megadeath means one million deaths.
