Hello GSam

You can submit the deletion/corrections for the credits using the online Update Form, if the credits do not belong to you, you can move the credits from page and make sure to provide a clear submission comment. I encourage you to take a look at our Cast Help Articles for instructions and further help.

Hey Fran, thank you for your prompt response and advice.

I have tried multiple times to make corrections on the Update Form however to no luck. It has been very disconcerting and upsetting to be attached to shows I have no relationship to or context with. How can we remove the incorrect credits? Can I share my profile and the misplaced credits?

Yes, you can. And it would be more helpful if you list your credits, not "misplaced" ones.

Hello GSam,

Can you post the 18-digits submission reference number for the rejections? to take a look for you!

You can find the submission number in your Contribution History page.

In this case, instead of removing the credits, a name page correction has to be submitted to move the credits to the correct person. You can submit the corrections using the online Update Form.

You can find help and instructions in our Help Articles

@Fran

Hi Fran ! Greatly appreciate your support with this issue.

So I have gone to the projects I have wrongly credited for and have changed the credit title for me 'Sam Goldie' (I) to 'Sam Goldie' (VI) whom we believe is the crew member who should be correctly credited. Fingers crossed and thank you

@Fran@MAthePA

Hi Fran & MAthePA, Happy Holidays!

So I have tried moving the credits to the correct person but have been declined?!?

With the reason being:

"Unfortunately, we were unable to accept your submission as we were unable to verify the information provided."

This is very frustrating and upsetting, how do we verify ? or is there alternative route to transferring credits to the correct person?

Thank you once again for all your support & guidance

@GSam Since IMDb advised a move and I couldn't find any reason after some research to contradict your claims, I went ahead and moved them for you. Hope all is correct for you now.
