How Can A Correction Get Verified If The Person Reviewing Won't Check IMDB or the Episode?

I made a contribution to correct false info. Contribution number: #250903-113434-870000 The correction was two-fold: Remove a line that stated "Blaine also convinces Kurt's father it's time to contribute to his sexual education." Explanation I gave: "Removed reference to Blaine asking Burt to talk to Kurt about sex. This did not occur in this episode, in fact Burt never made an appearance this episode. The event described happened in the previous episode (S02 E15 "Sexy"). " The same correction also involved changing "Fin" to "Finn" in referencing a character named Finn. Explanation Given: "Also corrected a spelling error: changed Fin to Finn, as Finn is the correct spelling of the character's name." This was declined as "Unable to verify" -- seriously? The episode's IMDB cast page lists Burt, the father, as "Credit Only" and that the character of Finn is spelled as Finn. Literally on IMDB. Could also just, y'know, watch the episode, or even check synopses of the episodes (also ON IMDB). How do we get the IMDB contribution verifier to verify stuff when they won't even check IMDB?
