How can I remove Background Actor credits from my page?
I have several projects that I worked as a Background Actor on, that I do not want listed on my IMDB profile. I've tried multiple times to delete the credits, citing that I was a background actor, and the requests are repeatedly declined. Traditionally, background roles are not listed on an acting resume, so why would they be listed on IMDB?

I'm just a regular user, but regarding your question:
" Traditionally, background roles are not listed on an acting resume, so why would they be listed on IMDB?"
IMDb is not only for the actors, I believe they also built the database for the fans,
Ref IMDb write on Instagram:
"Helping you identify “that person from that one movie” since 1990. "
Fans want to know and see everything their favorite performers are in.
Also, it helps actors/crew have an overview of who they have worked with/worked on the same project as.
