How to convert film title to episode?

I accidently created a title as 'film' instead of 'episode' of a series of short films. How can I change it? If I create a parent series title, can I add the film title as an episode?

Once a series title exists, it is possible to submit a title correction to the film using the episode format "series title" (year) {episode title (#1.x)} There are also some examples in the help text in the title correction form.

If a movie title was initially released as an episode of a TV series, the title page can be merged as an episode to the series page. Step-by-step instruction: 0) Create the series page if it does not exist, and wait for its approval and appearing online; 1) Add the proper episode with minimum data (episode name should be enough, may supply with release date) to the series page; 2) Go to the episode page created in step (1), click [Edit page] and then copy the whole string after "Updating Information for " -- the full path formatted as: "SERIES TITLE" (YEAR) {EPISODE TITLE (#SEASON.EPISODE)}; 3) Merge the movie page to the episode page, doing step by step on the movie page: [Edit page] - Title Correction [Add correction] - [Continue] - - Correction field: input the full path copied in the above step (2) - - [Check these updates] and follow further instructions. NOTE: If the series page did not exist and there were minimum data on the existing movie page, an alternative algorythm is explained in separate post below.

If an episode of a TV series is represented by a title page of different format (as movie or video or else, but not series) and there is no relative series page, the title page can be corrected (converted) to series page. Step-by-step instruction: 0) Keep in mind that this correction should result in a change to both the title format and, usually, its name; 1) On the title page, click [Edit page] - Title Correction [Add correction] - [Continue]; 2) In the Correction field, input the series title in quotation marks (which is used to format a title as series) and the year; 3) In the Explanation field, explain why the title page needs to be formatted to series, then click [Continue] and follow instructions. NOTE: This variant is good to keep the base technically consistent, to ensure the IDs of series to be followed by their episodes and not vice versa. But this variant can lead to some problems if the title page contains a lot of episode information that is not appropriate for the entire series. And this variant should not be used for a title released as a complete production and later market-placed as a pilot episode which then turned into series production.
