How to list a particular credit

I am wanting to edit / add a credit to episodes of a series. The show itself is fictional and not a documentary - it's an anthology crime show with each episode showcasing a different crime case. One actor "hosts" the show at the start, middle and end provides an overview of the case etc - this is a cutaway segment from the rest of the enactment of the crime and investigation. Previous contributors have listed his credit as Self - Host. However that has resulted in his credits being moved to the Self category when it should have been under his acting credits. Additionally some celebrity guests have also "hosted" episodes in the past. Should these simply be credited as Host or should they be left blank or should they credited with their actual name?

Hi gulfam_ahmed- In order for our staff to further help, can you post the link of the title you mentioned above and can you also confirm if this person plays a cast role in this series? Cheers!

Hi Maya The series is Crime Patrol: Dial 100 - https://imdb.com/title/tt5938958/ The actor in question is Anup Soni. He does not have character role in any episode but merely appears at the start middle and end to summarise what’s happening. The show itself contains dramatised real life crime stories so he adds an air of authenticity by acting as a host / narrator whereas the rest of the episode’s story is acted out by actors playing a character role. Please see the link below to episode 1 - Anup Soni appears at the 1min 21sec mark to introduce the episode https://youtu.be/TsqHuTV-qqY?si=fiU3y6SfN-rYc5pq

@gulfam_ahmed- Thank you! So, if the actor is hosting and narrating the show as himself, then the credits should be added as 'Self - Host.' Which will remain under 'Self.' But if it were the case that this actor is just a narrator and not a host, then this is where these credits would be listed under 'Actor.'
