how to remove marriage made by error

me and someone were engaged and about to be married but he is not expert with IMDB so instead of posting engaged or in relationship he chose married even though we are not legally married. 10 days later we broke up and ended things now i am trying to get the "marriage" removed from my personal information i am legally single and i can provide legal documents stating that from my state in Kuwait but IMDB continue to decline my request please help
