I have three questions relating to the formatting of contributions.
1. What is the proper formatting for participating production companies and how they appear in the credits? For example, if in the closing credits of a movie, “With the participation of the Canadian Film or Video Production Services Tax Credit” or “With the participation of the Province of British Columbia Production Services Tax Credit” appear on screen and is followed up by the Québec Production Services Tax Credit logo, do I format it as “Québec Production Services Tax Credit [ca] (with the participation of the: Canadian Film or Video Production Services Tax Credit)” or do them separately? 2. For companies that are represented by one employer rather than as a whole, say “Len Pendergast, Global Incentives,” do I simply list the company in the person’s credit or also feature it as a miscellaneous company? Additionally, what is the situation for roles like “pga,” “cdg,” or “mpse”? 3. If a company is acknowledged with the attribute “release,” does that automatically make them a distributor? For two examples, Columbia Pictures are usually acknowledged with the “a Columbia Pictures release” or “released by” attributes in the closing credits, even though they release their films through Sony Pictures Releasing, which doesn’t appear on screen. Another is Summit-label films from Lionsgate, as “A Summit Entertainment Release” appears in the credits for their most recent films, and yet Lionsgate handled distribution. Can you please clear this confusion?

2️⃣🇦 How companies and their employees can be added depends on the way they are (un)credited on screen.
✏ If a company is credited on screen, it should be added in a relative sub-section of "Company Credits".✏ If on screen a company is credited only as a sub-attribute to its employee, then to IMDb only the personal credit should be added with the company's name as an attribute.✏ If on screen a company is credited but its employees are not, then to IMDb the employees can be added with obligatory attributes as "(uncredited)" and "[role]: [company]".✏ If a company as legal entity consists of only one person, then an on-screen credit of the person should not result in adding both personal credit and company credit, or vice versa, until both of them are credited on screen.

2️⃣🇧 Guild memberships can be noted in biographical trivia. Suffixes indicating professional affiliation, like ASC, CSA, MPSE, etc., should be not included, as outlined in the guidelines:

1️⃣ "Production services tax credit" is not a production company, it is a stimulating program for Canadian film industry [https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/taxes/income-taxes/corporate/credits/production-services]. A refundable tax credit is a credit you can get as a refund even if you don't owe any tax. Tax credits are amounts you subtract from your bottom-line tax due when you file your tax return. So in fact, a production company has no additional funds support (no "participation" from the government) until the film is released and they possibly have an income. I doubt we should add as credited companies all such cases as FBI notices about legal copies.

3️⃣ Any film can be self-distributed, but also they hire a distributor that is a key part of a film's success. So there should be no confusion, since both ways can be used. For the purposes of IMDb, only the distributors credited on screen should be submitted with the order numbers as the appear on screen.
