Hi! I have tried to update my bio three times and keep getting rejected... Here is the latest attempt. 250428-223217-187000 - 2025-04-28 22:32:17 I have read the standards and I believe I am within them and can't understand why it's getting rejected. I've never had a submission rejected in 20 years. Could someone from IMDB give me guidance as to what I need to fix to up date the Bio? Thank you for your help.

Hi bradsimonsen- Thank you for posting the submission reference numbers! Taking a further look, everything is fine but any mentions of Awards for example ("which won Best Short Film in X festival" or "was nominated for this and that") will have to be removed as Awards already have their own section on IMDb and should be submitted there. Now, you can mention the following for example: "Emmy award winning short film..." which is fine. However, any other win or nomination mentions should go under Awards. Once you fix this, you can post the new 18-digit re-submission reference number here and we can take another look. Cheers!

In your response to bradsimonsen, you advise that mentioning awards in a biography is a no-no because there is a separate Awards section. You then say,“Now, you can mention the following for example: ‘Emmy award winning short film...’ which is fine.” Why is mentioning Emmy awards OK here?

@david_glagovsky- Hi! What I meant is that any specific nominations or wins for Awards need to go under Awards. There are cases where for example the following is mention on bios: "Maya is a well known director, producer and cinematographer. Her film 'Stop the Rain' won Best Short Film at the 2024 BAFTA Awards and this film was nominated as well for Best Cinematography at the 2024 Spirited Awards...She was also nominated for Best Director for he other film, 'Computer' at the 2024 Academy Awards...Her latest film, 'Open the Door' just won Honorable Mention for Best Editing at the Barcelona Film Festival and so on..." All this information needs to go under the respective Awards section.
