I submitted information about an obvious mistake, but it was declined?

Watched an episode of a show from the mid 1980's, featuring a woman who was clearly 20+ as a desk clerk, but the actress credited as playing her was only 13/14 at the time (born in 1971).  Despite making this observation, along with providing a screenshot that included a picture of the "desk clerk" and the credits with the name credited, it was rejected as being unable to verify.  The woman who was in the show is darker skinned than the one credited via IMDb, different facial features, and clearly not the same person.  So how is that unable to be verified?  Images and information on IMDb alone provides enough to see that it's an incorrect credit.
