I updated Production Company at SHOW level. Do I still have to fix it at every episode?
I am doing a series-wide update on episodes for a COMEDY CENTRAL show from 2002-2004. The show is Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0357399 -
I submitted an update for the Production Company at the SHOW LEVEL recently: 260611-024959-053000, because it was coming up as "Central Productions Ltd." which is a mistake, that is a UK entity with shows like THE HIT.
The show I'm looking at aired on COMEDY CENTRAL, and I provided evidence that the Production Company (copyright) was "Comedy Partners," so I submitted to REMOVE the wrong one. And ADD the right one.
It appears the change was accepted, but at every episode where I am adding episode-specific info, I still see the old Production Company appears: "Central Productions Ltd."
Do I need to update per-episode? Should I have submitted it as a "changed" production company instead of remove/and/add ? Does the change need to be "PUSHED" to ALL Episodes ? Does it take extra days and weeks to trickle down? Please advise. Thank you!

Yes, if the company appears on each episode you will have to update per-episode. Instead of removing, you can submit a correction for them and provide the respective explanation for the change.
Once you submit the corrections, these will be reviewed accordingly. Depending on several factors, the submissions might not be on the site immediately once submitted.

Since there are over 200 episode credits IMDb ought to have a simpler way to at least get wrong entries removed.
If you want to submit the edits it's a little easier to do it through the company listing like this:

To correct the company, first select Correct/delete for production companies. On the next page you can select "Correct all" at the top and "Show company" at the bottom and then edit the relevant fields. The alternative is to delete the incorrect credits, but it's probably not easier.
