Identity Errors and Incorrect Credits in IMDb pages - why is this okay?

Over a year ago, perhaps more, I was browsing the IMDb page of an VFX/DFX artist whose work I had been checking out and was surprised to discover works that weren't his, shown in the credits. After a brief search I'd quickly understood the problem : Two DIFFERENT individuals, in two different parts of the world, involved in different parts of film-making, who clearly had some parts of their names in common were merged together! H uman errors happen all the time, so I thought I had done the right thing by bringing it to IMDb's attention then via a submission to rectify this case of identity error. It wasn't until yesterday that I found out that it had been declined. I'd wanted to check the artist's IMDb page to see details of a new movie he is credited in, when I saw that IMDb still had two separate individual's works showing up under this page. So I made a SECOND submission, and explained clearly giving details of how : One individual is an animation artist working on English language movies made in animation studios based in INDIA, while the other individual is a crew member based in SAUDI ARABIA working in the "Camera and Lighting" department (refer the film Rouge). Bizarrely, the submission was denied again today! I don't think the staff who are receiving the submissions understand the difference between 'Lighting' in relation to CG (computer graphics), DFX & VFX and 'Lighting' in relation to Camera and Lighting, two distinctly and functionally different jobs AND departments of film-making. How does one rectify such gross error of identity in the IMDb website? Is it okay to show work that isn't one's, as somebody else's? Can IMDb get away with declining submissions and allowing misinformation to be the norm ? - when the error has been pointed out more than once now, an error which is clearly visible to anyone willing to spends a few minutes going through the list of movies, one which stands out like a sore thumb. IMDb page in question for anyone who can ohelp ffer advice on how to get IMDb to correct this blunder: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm4794296/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0_tt_0_nm_8_in_0_q_faris%2520ah Disputed credit - and therefore Identity of person and profession - is the film "Rouge". Reference number of the second submission denied today is : #250814-021540-073000, for CAMERA DEPARTMENT DELETION, Rouge (2024/I), Grip Assistant

Hi flowerpetal_06659- Thank you for posting the submission reference number! Further investigating and reviewing, this credit has been moved and the changes will be live shortly. Please note that instead of submitting a deletion request for credits if they are listed on an incorrect name page of a person with the same name, these credits can be moved to another (new) name page. Further detailed information and instructions, can be found on our following Help Guide: https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/filmography-credits/how-can-i-move-credits-to-another-page/GYZQEK7ACM9KCUNA?ref_=helpsrall# Cheers!
