💡 In order to prevent any invalid characters, a review should be written as simple text. Among existing software, some text editors provide the options to control that only simple text is written and saved, such as Notepad++ for Windows. When a text is copy-pasted from other (internet) sources to a rich-text editor, then it can include invisible non-ASCII (unicode) characters which are technically invalid for posting.

💡 If one is interested to reveal the invisible characters, there are online pages created specifically for this, among others: University of Wisconsin-Madison, SoSci Survey, Invisible Character Viewer, Invisible Characters.
