No Status

I'm in an edit war

I had added the keyword "undeserved-award" to WWF Survivor Series 2001.   I had also added the following paragraph,

"The Women's Title had been vacant since June due to WWE quietly pushing Chyna out the door because of tensions between her and Triple H (Paul Levesque) and Stephanie McMahon, and never acknowledging her departure onscreen. It was filled in a Six-Pack Challenge with Trish Stratus defeating Jacqueline (Jacqueline Moore), Ivory (Lisa Moretti), Lita (Amy Dumas), Mighty Molly (Nora Greenwald) and the debuting Jazz (Carlene Begnaud).  'Undeserved-award' is listed as a keyword because Trish won after months of not wrestling or being involved in anything."

Someone deleted "undeserved-award" and that last sentence.  How do I fix this?   Thank you.

It sounds as if you're using "undeserved-award" in a subjective context. In your judgment, a participant on this TV program does not deserve an award she received, and you want that reflected in the keyword section. Am I understanding correctly?

A keyword like that would usually be reserved for fictional titles. For instance, Charles Van Doren (Ralph Fiennes) in QUIZ SHOW (1994) wins awards on a game show, even though he is cheating. The keyword "undeserved-award" would be appropriate for this movie.

It would also be appropriate for an opinion program. Say there's a podcast episode in which the host discusses WWE and claims Trish Stratus did not deserve her award. The keyword "undeserved-award" would be appropriate for that episode.

Then again, WWE programs are mostly scripted, aren't they? If it's part of the plot that a wrestler won her award undeservedly, then the relevant episode would qualify for that keyword. But it doesn't sound as if that's what you're saying.

Right now, it looks as if this keyword is only being used for WWE titles in a subjective context.

undeserved-award

In my opinion, it should be removed from all of those titles.

Also: notes about keywords are inappropriate for the trivia section. The line about the keyword was correctly removed, IMO.

Trish was a pretty bad wrestler in 2001, the win came out of nowhere.

But that's your subjective judgement. The keyword section is not for subjective judgements. It's for objective data.

OK, I'll delete the keyword.
