Image not accepted

Hey! IMDb can be pretty picky about images, and the rejection reason isn’t always obvious. A few things that commonly cause this:

Most likely reasons it got rejected:

• Image has a watermark or logo on it (even a small one)
• It’s not the right aspect ratio — IMDb prefers 2:3 portrait for most titles
• Resolution too low — minimum 1000px on the longest side
• Copyright issue — if it’s pulled from a third party site like Podchaser, IMDb may flag it as not being an original source

What I’d try:
Find the image directly from the show’s official source or press kit if possible. Third party podcast platforms like Podchaser sometimes have compressed or watermarked versions that IMDb’s system rejects automatically.

Also worth checking your contribution history — IMDb usually gives a rejection reason in your Contributor Dashboard under the submission status. It’s easy to miss but it’s usually there.

If everything looks fine on your end, sometimes it’s just IMDb’s automated system being overly cautious. You can flag it for manual review through the help center and a human will usually sort it out within a few days. 👍
